Beijing Olympics is approaching in less than a month. The country is equipped up for it and everything is back on the track now. We'll have to go through a security check before we get on a metro. Lots of factories and plants were forced to stop production month ago. Vehicles are highly controlled from getting into Beijing. I don't know whether we are too cautious for this event or not, but it certainly creates a lot of inconvenience for people living and working in Beijing. Whatever, this is a big big world event, I think our government does not want anything unusual happens.
We had a bad and tough 2008. Many people say it's the Olympics bringing us bad luck, bringing us suffer. Of course we don't believe it. We will show the world that China is a great country and we can hold a big event like Olympics successfully.
I am preparing my trip to Beijing in August, I will watch one game in the "Bird Nest". Really looking forward to it.
