Beautiful City-Da Lian

I am in Dalian for business today. This is the first time I came here. I didn't realized that here is so much cooler than Shanghai, only 21,22 centigrade. The city is so beautiful, clean, and comfortable with fresh air, and it is surrounded by sea. It is a really good place for living. No wonder there are so many tourists in the summer. I saw many Russians on the street, and in the hotel I live, a typical scene in a city in northern China. I also saw many Japansese-style buildings in down town city. Japanese reined this city for almost 40 years, that's why Da lian has many builidings with Japanese styles.

I have finished my business in Dalian today, so I will go some sightseeting tomorrow:-) Will take more pictures.

Too hard to get a decent lawyer

God, I cannot believe we got another idiot lawyer again. We have to spend much time to teach her how a legal counsel is supposed to be.

Finally it's weekend. I have my own time now. Got up early on a Saturday morning, but I have to finish reviewing the distributorship agreement which shall be reviewed by our new lawyer.

Looking at my to-do list today, I am very upset. I have to catch up a 7:50am plane tomorrow morning to Dalian. Considering the strict and thourough airport inspection, I probably have to set my alarm at 5:30am. No sleep-over this weekend.

Lots of factories and plants were forced to stop production month ago. Vehicles are highly controlled from getting into Beijing. I don't know whether we are too cautious for this event or not, but it certainly creates a lot of inconvenience for people living and working in Beijing. Whatever, this is a big big world event, I think our government does not want anything unusual happens.

We had a bad and tough 2008. Many people say it's the Olympics bringing us bad luck, bringing us suffer. Of course we don't believe it. We will show the world that China is a great country and we can hold a big event like Olympics successfully.

I am preparing my trip to Beijing in August, I will watch one game in the "Bird Nest". Really looking forward to it.

What do we do in a hot wheather

What do we do in a really hot hot wheather? It's burning outside, you don't want to go out, the sun will kill you. So, stay inside, pull up your curtains, turn on your airconditioner, drink a lot of water, clean your apartment, wipe your floor really wet, and write a blog.

That's what I'm doing now.

I'm watching the Closer now. It's a good show, but Brenda has a tiring hair, My God, when I'm watching her performing, I just want to give her a hair pin to pin her hair back. Why is she leaving her hair like that?
